aDSL Lines
ADSL line rental requires an existing telephone line from Telkom. Prepaid lines are excluded, you will need a voice line billed on a monthly basis by Telkom. The services shown below are the line service only, you will still need to obtain a data package in order to use the line. Please see ADSL Packages on our website for data packages. Activation of Telkom service takes between 5 and 10 working days depending on Telkom's work load.
If you want to transfer your existing ADSL line to us, please consult your current ISP first and we can request the transfer of the line as soon as possible. The ADSL line does not have to be with us to be able to use our ADSL data packages.
Line speeds will depend on your exchange capabilities and other factors e.g. distance from exchange. The speed quoted is the possible maximum for the applicable package.
